 10 Fashion Trends That Resurfaced




Fashion trends come and go. It’s crazy to think that maybe in 10 years, people will be referring to fashion in 2025 as a decade. Like how we refer to the 90’s. Anyways, here are 10 fashion trends that have come back. 


  1. Cardigans


Cardigans were popular in the 1990s but are making their way back. You can style them with jeans, tank-tops, there are many choices. Personally, I love the ones from Ralph Lauren.


  1. Combat Boots


Whether you are wearing them to concerts, or just in general, combat boots (or Dr. Martens to be more specific) are a staple to your outfit. They were originally created for the military but gained popularity in the 70s as a fashion trend. 


  1. Cargo Pants


From the 90s, cargo pants have become a trend again. Best paired with a graphic tee and sneakers. 


  1. High-waisted jeans


High-waisted jeans have been popular for a while now. They were originally from the 80s but have made their way back here. 


  1. Fanny Packs (Belt Bags)


Belt bags are trending right now. For example, the Lululemon Belt Bag. If you walk the streets of New York, I can guarantee that you will see at least two people wearing Lululemon Belt Bags. This trend came back from the 90s. 


  1. Slip Dresses


Slip dresses were what everyone in the 90s were wearing. These are starting to become in style again. 


  1. Baggy Jeans


90’s hip hop fashion, baggy jeans have come back. For casual moments, or to walk down the street, baggy jeans are a go to.


  1. Crop Tops


Crop tops are worn by everyday celebrities. They were all the rage in the 80’s, and can be worn with jeans, shorts, skirts, cargos, etc. 


  1. Corduroy


They were mainly used for children’s clothing back in the 70’s. Now the fabric is used for skirts, jackets, and pants.


  1. Faux Fur Coats


Originating from the 90’s, faux fur coats have become very stylish.



These are 10 fashion trends that have come back. I wonder what will be trending again in the future.

  Shein, a popular fast fashion company, steals designs from other brands. Small businesses having their designs stolen Shein is a fast fashion company that is known to sell clothes for very cheap. I myself have bought from Shein because of how low the prices are. However, did you know that Shein copies designs from other small businesses? Small businesses have difficulty advocating for themselves and they have to watch their designs become stolen and put at a lower price, which is honestly disrespectful. They spend many hours working diligently on the products, just for big companies like Shein to copy them.  Last year, it’s estimated that Shein’s net sales reached $48 billion dollars.
